Anglesey Vacations is conveniently located on the North West coast of the Isle of Anglesey.
Situated on Holy Island (Holyhead) we’re only a short, half an hour’s drive from the Welsh mainland. We can also easily be reached by train with Holyhead station being only a couple of miles away from us.
The local area provides plenty to do, whether you wish to relax on one of Anglesey’s Blue Flag beaches, take a day trip to Ireland, explore some of the local castles or venture into the Snowdonia National Park. Closer to home, our accommodation is just a few minutes walk from the renowned Anglesey Coastal Path and RSPB reserve where the nearby cliffs are a haven for breeding seabird colonies, the sea below is also home to a host of sea-life including grey seals and dolphins, so don’t forget the camera!
Directions
- Reach Anglesey via A55 North Wales expressway
- Cross over the Menai Straits via the Britannia Bridge, continuing on the A55
- Follow A55 all the way into the town of Holyhead until you come to a roundabout
- At the roundabout take the first left then, after only 20 yards or so, take an immediate right & turn down a narrow street of terraced houses (Porthdafarch Rd.)
- Keep going straight on this road for approx. 2 miles until you reach a T junction at the end (adjacent to a beach – Porthdafach)
- Then turn right up the hill and keep going up this twisty country road, pass a converted chapel on your right and Blackthorn farm on your left.
- Shortly after the chapel you begin to go decend a steep hill, once the hill levels out take the 2nd turning on the left.
- Anglesey Vacations is located on the left, half way down the lane.
